About Newport Bakery
Newport Bakery is a bakery in Arbroath town centre, found at 19 Guthrie Port, DD11 1RW. Expect the traditional bakery line-up – savouries for lunch, bread for the week and cream cakes for a treat.
Newport Bakery has not published regular opening hours in the sources we use, so it is worth calling ahead or checking social media before a special trip. Under Scotland's Food Hygiene Information Scheme, Angus recorded a result of "Pass" on 4 December 2025.
If you are coming by train or tube, Arbroath station is roughly a 7-minute walk. 4 other bakeries sit within about ten minutes' walk, which makes Arbroath Centre a good area to compare loaves and cakes.
